Here are a few vector skulls that I’ve created for my friends skate company. The company is called “The Denver Shop” and I’m trying to design some T-shirt and board designs for him, so hopefully he likes some of them. I’ll also post some type treatments for DS soon. – S

Warrior Grrrls

It seems that everytime I’ve turned on the TV this week the movie “Underworld: Evolution” has been on and me being a big fan of Kate Beckinsale, leather and latex, felt inspired. So here are a couple of illustrations that I came up with over the past week. If you click below on the B/W color studies you will see the different stages that these illustrations have taken. I hope to have final colors versions for ya soon. The images are going to be quit large. 24″ x 36″ @ 300dpi to be exact. Hopefully they turn out well. Enjoy – S

“Hoss”

I was going thru some of the pics that I have taken lately and came across this one of “Hoss” the horse… I mean dog. I thought his face looked pretty funny so with a tiny reference pic I did a quick 30 min. sketch and color of him as warm up exercise. I was amazed to find out that he is deaf and his owners, Ruggles & Michelle (friends from way back), had to teach him sign language for his commands. Pretty cool, right! Anyway, enjoy the pic – S
