New SketchBook and Moleskin

Just wanted to show everyone the latest supplies I received via “Josh” over at Hydro74. Hydro74 just released an etched Sketchbook and chemical washed Moleskin with his design on them and I felt like I had to have them. So, right away I ordered the sketchbook and after a couple of days of admiring the top notch quality of design/etching that was put into it I decided to order the Moleskin. However, to my surprise, that very day Josh had sent me one in the mail. It was just as awesome looking as the sketchbook. Now let’s just hope I put the same quality of work onto their pages. “HateChimp” tribute

The other day my boy JOel, a.k.a. “MechaHateChimp“, was telling me how pissed off he was and while he was spewing out all of his verbal obscenities (that were cracking me up) I started to sketch. He was so mad that all I could see in my head was this image of an irate chimp going off. So, I started to put pen to paper and by the end of the conversation this is what was left on the page. So, here’s to “J”, the meanest lil’ primate I know! Cheers Bro! – S

The initial sketch took about 45 min and the quick & rough coloring job took another 45 min. – S

The image below was created for their mother, my aunt Marsha. She asked me to design a tattoo armband with the Twins names in it. I think it turned out nice. Now, we’ll have see if she gets it. The top is the pencil sketch that I came up with and the bottom is the final vector image. Enjoy – S
